About The Workshop Summit Series
The CSS Workshop Summit is a part of The Workshop Summit Series which lets you build your skill set without having to leave your computer. Each Summit is a virtual conference—all you need is a computer and broadband internet connection to attend.
The Workshop Summit Series consists of three hour sessions spread over two days. Attendees can chat with each other and ask questions of the presenters throughout the day.

All times CT, schedule subject to change. All presentations will be roughly 3 hours long and enough time for questions and answers. If you sign up for an all day workshop session, we will break a two hour-long lunch break.

About CSS3 Workshop
Recent implementation of CSS3 features in modern browsers allow for greater design control and creativity in our Web sites.
In this three-hour workshop, attendees will learn about using colors through RGBa and opacity, multiple background and border images, text and box shadows, CSS-enabled gradients and transitions as well as laying out text in multiple columns.
In addition to font embedding techniques and third-party font bureaus, we look into designing with older browsers in mind when coding with CSS3.
NOTE: You get a free copy of CSS Cookbook, 3rd Edition for attending! CSS Cookbook's new edition is almost three times as big as the first edition and covers the latest browsers and HTML5 and CSS3.
